Our Mission and Vision

Our Mission at The Movement Barre is to provide exercise that is fun, safe and tailored to you so so that you can be empowered and get back to the activities that you love!

So many people don't know where to begin when they have had a setback or have had extended time away from regular exercise. Our vision is to make getting back to exercise easier by providing an accepting, safe and fun environment run by an experienced Physiotherapist.

Meet our Physiotherapist

Sacha McCulloch is a Physiotherapist from Sydney Australia, with more than 15 years experience in teaching exercise to people of all walks of life.

Education:

  • Doctor of Physiotherapy at Macquarie University Sydney

  • Master of Research at Macquarie University Sydney

  • Diploma of Contemporary Pilates and Teaching Methodology Tensegrity Training, Sydney

  • APMA Level 2 Pilates Instructor Course, Spring Pilates, Sydney

  • Certificate IV in Pilates, Australian Fitness Network, Sydney

  • Certificate IV in Personal Training, Australian Fitness Network, Sydney

  • Certificate III Group Fitness Instructor Australian Fitness Network

Rehab / Clinical Pilates classes

Equipment used in our studio includes reformer, wunda chair, trapeze, ladder barrel, spine corrector small apparatus and strength training equipment. Available one-to-one or in a class of 3 participants. Private health fund rebates may be available.

Do you love movement to music?

Our barre classes are low impact and fun with a combination of easy ballet / dance inspired moves, strengthening, stretching and Pilates based exercises. Designed to strengthen and sculpt your body. No dance experience needed!!

Our services

If you are recovering from injury, pain, or are pre or post-partum, our tailored rehab classes may be for you. Each class contains an individual approach which include a combination of clinical Pilates mat and equipment exercises, strength and stretching specific to your needs. and goals.

Community Visit: One to one or Group

If you would prefer to exercise at home or in the community but need a physiotherapist to guide you - our community visits may. be ideal!
